Global International School - Discipline & Rules

At Global International School, The school will enforce strict discipline among the student with the help and co-operation of parents / guardians. The student will remain in the school for 5.5 hours and with their parents for the remaining period of the day and so the role of the parents is very important.

The parents are request to give sufficient time to their wards at home and watch even their minor activities and affectionately suggest the right way of doing things. In fact parents are the real teachers. It does not mean that we are shifting our responsibility. To build up the character of a students and to make them upmost disciplined in our prime responsibility. Actually ,to express the student on the ground of discipline is to accept our failure. Global international school teaches all the possible steps to bring such student on right path with the parent’s co-operation . In our opinion expulsion from school or severe punishments and negative attitudes .To make the students disciplined in our prime responsibility and we accept it.

House system -

In order to create healthy sense of competition among the students, all student of the school are divided among four houses, which is as follows : Gandhi House, Jawahar House ,Shubhas House and Ramanujan House.

Each house will be under the control of a teacher, who is called the House Master. All students of each house will be headed by a senior student known as House Captain, who reports to the House Master. The House Captain and House Master will be responsible for the performance of their Houses in all the activities of the school like games, sports, debates, dance &drama etc. Each house will be responsible for conducting the school prayer term wise for one week

Withdrawals –

Before withdrawing a student from the school, an application must be submitted to the Principal before one month. Those who leave in the month of May must in all cases pay fees for the month of June being vacation period. Transfer certificate is not issued until all dues of the school are cleared.

Note :1 –

Caution Money is returned only if the student leaves the school after completing the session. 2- Transfer certificate will be issued only for Current Academic session.

Absence –

Students absenting on the previous day are not admitted to the class without permission of the class Teacher. Leave is granted on medical grounds. Repeated absence with or without leave for more than 2 weeks renders the students liable to have his name struck off the roll. Re -admission may be granted only after permission of principal/Director. On re-admission, a re-admission fee of Rs.500/- will be charged Rs. 5/- per day will charged as a absence fine.

Mode of Examination –

For all classes there will be Term -1 and Term -2 Examinations. Besides these examinations, Two PreTerm Tests, weekly tests and monthly tests will also be held . Progress of the students will be assessed on the basis of above tests.

Note :2 –

A student absent in any examination for any reason will not be re-examined. School uniform -

• For Boys :-
• In summer: Pink half /full pant, checked half sleeve shirt with school Monogram , , white socks ,Black shoes, Deep brown neck tie .
• Note: pink trouser and loose T-shirts (on Wednesday )
• In winter -black colour pullover
• For girls:-
• In summer- pink skirt with half sleeve shirt with school Monogram, Black Ribbon, Deep brown neck tie , White socks .
• Pink trouser & Grey T-shirt ( on Wednesday)
• In winter:- Black colour pullover
